In late September, the existing myForest Owner and Agent accounts will be replaced by three clearer tiers, or Packages.
This tiered structure will make it easier for users to choose the right level of support for their needs.
In this FAQ, italic text is used to highlight key myForest system terms, roles, and packages.
These are fully defined in the myForest Glossary for quick reference.
How do the new packages compare to my existing plan?
When do I have to change my Package?
Visit myForest Packages for details of the features available with each Package.
Are there any discounts available?
We want to support our users through this change. The discounts offered depend on the account type you have when the new account structure is launched.
I have a Paid Agent account. If I cancel my subscription or choose Advanced or Basic, will I get a refund?
If you cancel your subscription or switch to Advanced or Basic, this will be applied at the end of your current Subscription Period. You will be able to continue using your account as normal until then so no refunds will apply. After that you may be eligible for discounts on selected packages for a limited time.
If I upgrade during my Subscription Period, how much will I be charged?
Upgrades from Advanced to Professional will be billed pro-rata, based on the number of days until your renewal date. Upgrades from Basic will be billed at the full annual rate.
I currently have a Free Agent account where I manage fewer than 4 Properties, and I don’t plan on managing any more. What’s the best new package for me?
In order to continue to manage multiple Properties you will have to change to the Professional package. You will get best value by taking advantage of the offer for current free users - upgrade to the Professional package by 30th November 2026 for a 50% discount on your first year’s subscription (£100, instead of £200, to manage up to 3 Properties).
I currently have a Free Agent account where I manage 4 or more properties. What’s the best new package for me?
In order to keep managing more than 3 properties through myForest you will need to change to the Professional package, and pay for Active Properties in addition the the inclusive allowance of 3.
To smooth this transition we are offering an exclusive upgrade path before the new packages take effect:
This effectively gives you free Additional Property Slots for 2 years after you subscribe to a Paid Agent account, giving you plenty of time to adjust to the new system while keeping all your current Properties fully active.
But remember, to benefit from this offer you must upgrade to a Paid Agent account by the 18th September.
What is an Active Property Allowance?
The Active Property Allowance is the number of Properties in your account that you can fully open, edit, and work on. These could be Properties you created or were transferred from another user. Your Allowance is determined by your Package and the number of additional Properties you have purchased during your current Subscription Period (Professional only). Properties that belong to other users and are shared with you for collaboration do not count towards your Allowance.
| Property Type | Counts Towards Allowance? | Can You Open & Edit? | Notes |

If I already have more than 3 Properties in my Agent account, what happens to my Properties when I upgrade to Professional?
Can I reactivate an inactive Property?
