EXCLUSIVE SPECIAL FEATURE
In conjunction with the Forestry Commission, users in England can download files ready to be uploaded directly into FLO (Felling Licence Online), streamlining the process of applying for a 5-year felling licence.

Note that there are a number of requirements in order for the FLO tool to work successfully:

  • sub-compartments must have letters assigned to them
  • sub-compartments must be mapped

If the area of your Woodland Creation project is over the Environmental Impact Regulations (EIA) threshold for afforestation then you will need to submit a Screening Request Form to Scottish Forestry.

Thresholds vary depending on the presence of site sensitivities.
