myForest for Education is an easy-to-use and free online application that enables any educator, or young person, to generate straightforward woodland management plans, maps and ecological impact assessments for woodland sites and school grounds.
myForest for Education has been designed to support forest education initiatives, such as Forest School, by giving providers access to woodland management tools. While designing and building myForest for Education, we consulted closely with more than 100 Forest School Leaders, environmental educators and teachers who participated in early trials and contributed ideas.
Forest educators are provided with a dedicated account, separate to those used by woodland owners and foresters. It includes special features and guidance for educators. To start using the myForest for Education application, simply register here as an "education provider".
If you are currently completing your Forest School leader training, myForest for Education can help you to complete the following assignments required for the Level 3 qualification:
You may also find the mapping functions on myForest for Education helpful for recording the features of your woodland site, and designing new sites.

It has been developed and launched thanks to the generous support of the Patsy Wood Trust.
